We also offer additional payments for hours above your contract such as:

  • standard overtime (over 37 hours) = Normal rate plus 1/3 pay (on Sunday’s overtime is plus 2/3)
  • work on a Saturday = Normal rate plus 1/3 pay
  • work on a Sunday = Normal rate plus 1/3
  • nights = Normal rate plus 1/3 (on weekends this is in addition to that enhanced rate)
  • bank holidays = Double rate

Annual leave allowance

Receive a minimum 25 days, plus bank holidays as standard, rising as you stay with us or progress up salary grade points.

Flexibility

Benefit from standard working hours or up to two months advanced notice working arrangements (dependent on service area).

Background checks are part of the process of starting a career in adult social care. We’ll fund your Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and do an Adult First check which may allow you to start work earlier.

If you have convictions, cautions, or reprimands this doesn’t always mean you can’t have a role in adult social care. It will just depend on its relevance to the role.
