Before you start, things you need to know:
Rats inside a property
If you are requesting pest treatment for rats inside a property, please call customer services on 0345 8 506 506. The issue may be able to be resolved earlier than the date given by online appointment (please note that booking online is still an option).
Rented properties
If you are requesting a pest service for a rented property and your landlord is paying for the service; only your landlord's payment details will be accepted.
Wakefield District Housing (WDH) properties
WDH provide their own pest control service which is included in the price of rent. Not all types of pests can be dealt with by WDH pest control services. If it’s a pest WDH don't deal with, you can still book a pest control treatment through Wakefield council.
Bees or Wasps
If you’re not sure whether its Bees or wasps, please select wasps.
If you have more than one wasp nest you will need to ring our contact centre on 0345 8 506 506. There will be another charge of £24.75 per nest.
Please be aware we do not treat bees. Please contact the National Beekeepers Association on 0300 020 0649. They will provide you with a telephone number of the nearest beekeeper to the postcode location of the swarm/nest.
If no treatment is needed
If we don't carry out a pest treatment then only the call-out and survey fee will apply (£47.72, including VAT - applies to all customers).
If you pay for the service in advance, you will be refunded the difference.
