Real nappies

This is a Wakefield Council sponsored trial delivered in partnership with Biffa.

By being part of the real nappies scheme you are agreeing to be contacted for feedback within 3 months of receiving your free nappy pack. This feedback will help us to improve the service. 

Before you start, things you need to know: 

• you can only apply after your child has been born and before their first birthday 
• you can only apply if you are the parent or guardian of the child 

Collection of nappies 

When you collect your nappy trial pack you will need to bring: 

• birth certificate 
• proof of residency 

Click and collect 

Click and collect is available for the real nappies scheme at these locations: 

• Castleford Library (Closed Wednesdays and Sundays) 
• Pontefract Library (Closed Thursdays and Sundays) 
• Wakefield Library (Closed Sundays) 

Once you have selected your collection point, someone will be in contact with you to arrange a time and date for the collection nappies pack. 

It can take up to 5 working days to process your request.
