Food Safety

Register your food business by visiting the GOV.UK webpage here. Any problems let our Food team know at food@wakefield.gov.uk.

Even if you are only re-selling pre-packaged food, such as sweets and chocolates for hampers, you are technically still a food business. Therefore, you must still be registered with your local authority and have some food safety procedures in place.
