The Housing Options Service in Wakefield has been enhanced through collaboration with local agencies. We have introduced two new property shops in Wakefield, making it easier than ever to access help and advice. Our dedicated staff can provide personalised guidance, and we also offer self-service options through our internet facilities:

If you are interested in finding out more you can visit the property shops at during opening hours. These are:

• Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 4:30pm
• Thursday: 9am tp 7pm
• Friday: 9am to 4:30pm
• Saturday: 9am to 12pm

Our Housing Options Advisors, part of the Housing Needs Service at Queens House, specialise in assisting individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

These advisors have extensive knowledge about accommodation and housing options in the district. They collaborate with other organisations to establish effective partnerships and engage local landlords in offering housing solutions to our customers.

Advisors may be able to work with you on a one-to-one basis, assessing your needs and advising you on how to successfully find accommodation.
