Most applications have a fee to pay. Fees are set nationally by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).

Methods of payment

• online - using debit or credit cards on our online payment portal 
• Planning Portal Worldpay to pay for your application online
• cheque and Postal Orders - made payable to WMDC by post or in person at Wakefield One Customer Access Point
• debit or credit cards - in person at Wakefield One or via phone on 0345 8 506 506
• cash - in person only at the Wakefield One Customer Access Point
