Statement of community involvement
The Statement of Community Involvement explains how we will engage with a broad spectrum of people and organisations when preparing Local Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents, considering planning applications, working with communities on Neighbourhood Plans, and updating the Community Infrastructure Levy.
We have prepared a new Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) to reflect changes resulting from planning legislation and guidance and to ensure we are engaging communities effectively. The SCI was adopted on 16 January 2024 and is available to view and download here:
