Many of our courses are free including, Maths, English and ICT.

Where a fee is charged you may be entitled to a free course, help with travel costs and equipment, and/or childcare fees, depending on your individual circumstances.

Course fees and support for courses starting after 1 August 2024

If you are currently unemployed and can provide evidence of any of these circumstances, you may be able to study your course for free:

  • if you are unemployed and claiming JSA (Job Seekers allowance)
  • if you are unemployed and claiming ESA (Employment Support Allowance)
  • if you are unemployed and claiming Universal credit 

If you are currently employed and your take-home pay recorded on your Universal Credit Statement or account (not including and benefits payment):

  • is less than £617 a month (£7,404 per annum) where learner is sole adult in claim
  • is less than £988 a month (£11,856 per annum) where learner has a joint claim with partner 

Or if you are currently employed and earning a personal income of £25,000 or less per year, you will be able to complete a course with us for free.
