Mayor's events and requests for attendance
The Mayor supports many events across the District. This includes:
- visits to schools
- care homes
- charity events
- the opening of new businesses
Requests for the Mayor's attendance should be submitted at least 10 days before the event.
Before you start
You should call or email the Mayor's Office first to check whether the Mayor is available for your date before sending your form.
What we need to know
- the title and description of your event
- when your event is
- details of the organisers
- any dress code
- what the event involves (speeches and any other duties)

Invitations are usually accepted on a "first come, first served" basis.
