Are you a survivor of domestic abuse?

Your voice as a survivor of domestic abuse will help us to improve services, support, and training. By sharing your lived experience anonymously, we can help to shape future domestic abuse support for victims, survivors, and their families.

If you are aged 16 years or above and have been affected by domestic abuse, we would like to hear from you. We have a short questionnaire which we would like you to complete which can be found here. The questionnaire will take around 10 minutes to complete, we thank you for your time and your input.

If you would prefer to speak with someone or are unable to complete this questionnaire online, please contact the Domestic Abuse Engagement Team by email at DAengagement@wakefield.gov.uk.

We know that describing your experiences of domestic abuse can be extremely difficult. If after completing the questionnaire you feel that you need support, please visit the ‘Getting Support’ section on the website, and contact the most appropriate service for you.

Shout Out

Do you directly/indirectly support adults or children who have experienced domestic abuse?

Do you directly or indirectly support adults or children who use abusive behaviours towards family members, partners, or ex partners?

We would like to know more!

We recognise the invaluable support provided through Charities, VCSEs and other agencies and organisations in the district.

We really want to hear from organisations who may already be supporting people who have experienced domestic abuse (as a victim or as a perpetrator).

We are also working hard to gather voices from victims and survivors to inform future needs assessments and future commissioning decisions. If you can support in any way to help represent the voice of victims and survivors, then we want to hear from you too.
