Citizen Coin in Wakefield
Citizen Coin is an app that recognises and rewards volunteering and is free to use. Anybody can sign up, including those who already volunteer or those who would like to.
When you download the app, you can view and sign up for volunteering activities in your community. Once you have signed up and taken part in an activity, you will be rewarded with Citizen Coins. These can be spent in participating local businesses.
To find out more, visit the Citizen Coin website.
Citizen Coin for retailers
If you are a retailer in the district, you can post offers and discounts on Citizen Coin. This means you can increase footfall to your business and reward people for doing good things in their local area. The app is easy and free to use for everyone.
We are looking for retailers to sign up to Citizen Coin. If you would like more information, please email citizencoin@wakefield.gov.uk and we will be in touch.
