• earn coins by using the Citizen Coin app to track your hours
• spend your coins at participating local businesses or donate them to causes you care about

Volunteering with Wakefield Council

There are lots of ways to volunteer at the Council, including:

• sports
• the environment
• learning for young people and adults
• in Wakefield's green spaces
• in Castles and Museums
• as a School Governor
• one-off local litter picks
• youth work
• nominated adults for vulnerable young people and adults in custody
• library volunteers
• stewarding at Council galas and events

All Wakefield Council volunteers will earn Citizen Coins for their contributions, which can then be spent locally.
