How to be a Teaching Assistant
This is an entry level course where you can begin to learn about the role of a teaching assistant.

Level 2 Certificate - Teaching Assistant
This is an accredited course where you will gain a recognised qualification to become a Teaching Assistant. The course includes different modules, including safeguarding children and developing positive relationships.
If you are not already employed in a place of learning, you will need to find a voluntary work placement. You will need to complete 5 hours of placement per week to complete this course.

Level 3 Diploma - Teaching Assistant
This is an accredited course. You will learn how to plan and deliver learning activities and use assessment strategies to promote learning. You'll also find out how to effectively communicate with young people and other professionals.
If you are not already employed in a place of learning, you will need to find a voluntary work placement. You will need to complete 10 hours of placement per week to complete this course.
