Made in Wakefield Large Grants are expected to support a significant new creative work, or larger participatory projects with communities, including those culturally under-served in Wakefield district, that may be sustained, longer term or larger scale.

These grants will support:

  • large scale cultural and creative projects
  • large scale participatory arts projects
  • projects that target engagement with culturally under-served audiences
  • match funding for a significant national funding application i.e. National Lottery Heritage Fund

Please note that unlike Made in Wakefield Small grants, Large grants are not appropriate to support research and development or pilot projects as the larger funding amount requires activity to be already developed ready for delivery.
