Local Plan – Inspectors Report

The Council submitted the Wakefield District Local Plan to the Secretary of State on 4 May 2021.

Following an independent examination, the Council received the Inspector’s Report on 6 November 2023. The report confirmed that, subject to main modifications, the Local Plan was sound and could proceed to adoption.

The Council adopted the plan on 24 January 2024.
