Key details
The Wakefield Exchange project has delivered the city’s newest dynamic creative hub. Officially opened in February 2025, it’s right in the heart of our city, next to the bus station and just a few minutes’ walk from the rail stations.
WX is Wakefield’s new go-to destination for creativity, culture, leisure, and work.
It offers an exciting programme of regular events and activities, showcasing local talent and beyond. Open seven days a week, it has spaces for digital and creative businesses, and also offers fantastic food and drink.
